Continue to increase in temperature when removed from the heating environment – to the point they can melt plastics, tanks, etc. that are in close proximity.	Uses a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) semiconductor ceramic-heating element, which is extremely resistive to electrical current flow above a specific designated temperature. The PTC material acts as its own high-limit thermostat – allowing current to flow when cold and limiting the current flow when hot. In other words, the semiconductor element self-regulates its maximum temperature.
Safety devices meant to prevent this – such as internal fuses and thermocouples – can fail, and are often disabled by time-pressed workers.	Due to the self-regulating design of the Safe One heater, it's impossible to bypass the thermal fuse – because there is none! Safety is built-in, not added on.
